Polychrome wood restorer: wood at the heart of my craft

A passion turned profession
I am Silvia Crusco, a wood restorer and sculptor. I hold a diploma from a school for cultural heritage restoration technicians in Italy, where I worked on statues and objects in polychrome and gilded wood, including many works of sacred art. Now based in Lavaux, I put this expertise at the service of private clients, collectors and parishes throughout French-speaking Switzerland, for works of art as well as valuable antique furniture.
My philosophy
I see every work as a witness to its time. My aim is not to make it look new, but to preserve its authenticity through respectful, reversible interventions carried out according to the principles of traditional restoration.
